Knekt is a floor lamp designed to provide precise lighting by the armchair — a stable, space-saving helper that balances simplicity and function.
Like a faithful squire (knekt in Norwegian), it stands firm in the room, always ready to assist — a figure with a clear, functional, and honest expression.

Work lamp for the armchair
The armchair has quietly become a place for both rest and work. Yet most floor lamps are designed for general lighting — tall, bright, and unfocused. Knekt is designed around the armchair, providing precise light exactly where it is needed.

Made to last
The lamp is built for longevity, using standard components that can be easily replaced when needed. The E27 socket can be changed by hand, without special tools or expertise, allowing the lamp to remain in use for generations.

Easy to adjust
Its honest, minimal construction allows flexible adjustment in height and angle, making it easy to position the light for different uses. An integrated switch in the lamp head keeps it within easy reach. The result is a lamp that naturally adapts to the way you use it.

Raw
Raw aluminum is a beautiful, honest material with a natural surface that gives the lamp its character. Left without coating, its natural qualities remain visible while allowing for graceful aging. Over time, the surface evolves — marks, fingerprints, and oxidation form a distinct patina that reflects its use and character.
